The "we learned from others" pricing
Before you scroll down to see the price, let me explain why it is what it is.
The Kunos Approach
Kunos launched AC Evo in early access. $20 for a game that's... let's be honest, not exactly finished. But It's not free.Despite being early access, they're charging for it.
The Rennsport Approach
Rennsport is... not great. Let's be honest about that. But hey, it's free! That makes it better, right?
Wrong. Here's what I learned: giving away a trash product for free doesn't make it less trash. It just means more people get to experience the trash without paying for it.
The RaceLab Approach
And then... there's RaceLab. $399 lifetime. Or a monthly subscription. For an overlay. Let me say that again: four hundred dollars lifetime (or pay monthly) for just an overlay.
Look, I'm not saying it's not a good overlay. I'm saying that's... a lot. That's a decent steering wheel and wheelbase. That's like 4 years of iRacing subscription or buy LMU for all your friends and family.
By the way, we wrote an article about RaceLab alternatives if you're looking for options. Just saying.
So What Did I Learn?
- โIts better to get rant by paying customers than by non-paying users
- โYou hate subscriptions so just make it usage-based, Yeah I hate subscription but I play iRacing
- โDon't give away garbage for free and call it a "strategy"
- โDon't charge $399 for something that could be $39 (or less)
- โBe honest about what you're offering and price it fairly
- โMake something for you so even if no one buys it, you'll still use it
Okay, here's the actual price

Shape the product

Lock in the early bird price
$39 after launch. You save $15 by believing in us early.
Limited spots, I don't have resources for thousands of users yet ๐
About AI Credits
Here's the thing about AI: it costs money to run the best model. Every time you ask your AI engineer something and it uses cloud AI, that costs us a few cents...
So unlike an overlay that actually no need subscription, this needs one but we decided to make it usage-based. Charged it based on usage means you only pay for what you use. No use = no pay.
But dont worry you can still use local AI for free if you have a capable resources.
So how does this work?
- โCloud AI: Pay only for what you use. No use = no pay. It's that simple.
- โLocal AI: Use your own hardware to run the AI. Zero extra cost. Your GPU does the work.
We keep it simple. Buy the app, use the app, pay for smarter AI only when you use AI.
Real Talk
RacingGuide is not a necessity for sim racing. You can absolutely race without it. You've been doing fine without an AI engineer in your ear.
If the price is a stretch for you right now, or if you're just not sure yet, that's totally cool. Check out our free tools at RaceXtats. We've got lap time analysis, setup comparisons, and more... all free.
Sim racing is already expensive enough. Wheel, pedals, rig, monitors, VR, subscription fees... I get it. This is a nice-to-have, not a must-have. No pressure. ๐๏ธ
Why "Limited"?
I'm one person. I don't have a team of engineers or a support department. I can't handle thousands of users right now without the experience suffering. So I'm keeping it small, keeping it quality, and growing carefully.
If you're reading this and spots are still available... that's your chance.
